NON-RESIDENT TUITION |

Effective Summer 2023 term, non-residents of California are required to pay a tuition fee of $360 per unit in addition to the enrollment fee and basic fees. |
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT TUITION |
$360 per unit |
The tuition fee for international students, nonimmigrant aliens or students on other types of visas is $360 per unit (effective Summer 2023) in addition to the enrollment fee and basic fees. HEALTH SERVICES |
$21 |
A mandatory Student Health fee of $21 for Fall and Spring, and $18 for Summer will be assessed for all students each semester or session. This fee is used to support health services for enrolled students. In accordance with State Assembly Bill 982 and Section 76355 of the State Education Code, exemptions are only granted for the following: Students who depend exclusively upon prayer for healing in accordance with the teachings of a bona fide religious sect, denomination, or organization. Written documentation must be provided to the Director of Student Life, Room 2355, Building 2300. |
STUDENT REPRESENTATION FEE |
$2 |
A Student Representation fee of $2.00 will be assessed of all students each semester or session. The fee is used for any purpose related to representing the views of students with governmental bodies. In October 2019, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1504 into law authorizing California community colleges to assess a student representation fee of $2 per semester beginning Spring term 2020. The student representation fees collected will help establish and support the operation of a statewide community college student organization that empowers students to participate and engage in statewide higher education policy and advocacy activities. The fees collected will also financially support the advocacy efforts of Chabot College’s Student Government. To learn more about the student representation fee and student advocacy efforts being undertaken at the college, students are encouraged to contact Chabot College’s Student Government at (510) 723-2685 or life@ctdj.net. To opt-out of this fee, student must complete the opt-out form by logging on to CLASS-Web and submitting the form by the published deadline date. Deadline dates are posted in CLASS-Web. |
ASSOCIATED STUDENTS ACTIVITY |
$10 |
An optional fee of $10 will be assessed each semester. This fee is used to fund special events, activities, student organizations, and services. The Student Activity Fee also supports student government through the Student Senate of Chabot College and the Inter Club Council in their advocacy for and serving as the voice of Chabot students in working with campus, local, state, and federal government. |
PARKING |
$3 daily $45 semester |
Parking at Chabot College is by permit only. Daily and semester permits are available. Visit the parking website for all current permit fees, purchasing permits and parking guidelines. |

Non-Resident Tuition Fee Exemption
Per AB 2210, Education Code section 68075.65
Education Code section 68075.6 grants an immediate nonresident tuition fee exemption to eligible Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders and refugee students who settled in California upon entering the United States. This exemption is granted for one year from the date the student settled in California upon entering the United States.
This exemption applies to the following:
- Iraqi citizens or nationals (and their spouses and children) who were employedby or on behalf of the United States Government in Iraq (Pub.L. No. 110-181, § 1244)
- Afghan and Iraqi translators (and their spouses and children) who worked directly with the United States Armed Forces (Pub.L. No. 109-163, § 1059)
- Afghanistan nationals who were employed by or on behalf of the U.S. government or in the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan (Pub.L. No. 111-8, § 602)
- Refugee students admitted to the United States under Section 1157 of Title 8 of the
United States Code
